Energy is the greatest enabler of socio-economic development.

1.1 billion people lack access to energy worldwide.

In Africa alone, 600 million people have no access to energy 95% of which from rural Sub-Saharan Africa. This number is not set to diminish .Absolute Energy has developed a viable, long-term approach to delivering productive energy in a distributed manner, in scale.

Absolute Energy is committed to providing affordable productive energy to all people, in order to enable and accompany sustainable socio-economic growth in a symbiotic manner.

Sub-Saharan Africa has the largest number of water-stressed countries of any other place on the planet and an estimated 800 million people who live in Africa, 300 million live in a water stressed environment.

Absolute Energy is committed to providing this vital resource everywhere it operates. Water at or above the required threshold of 1,700 cubic meters per person with an aim of providing drinking water, sanitation ,water for agricultural and industrial use, while minimizing the impact on the environment.

According to the United Nations, East Africa is already the hungriest places on Earth: Oone in every three people live without sufficient access to nutritious food.

Access to productive energy, sufficient water and financing is fundamental towards tackling this deepening crisis. Absolute Energy also recognizes that the solution must go beyond putting food on the table. Agricultural productivity is critical as farming is a key component of the economy and employment outlook in Africa.

In a nutshell, Absolute Energy aims to help communities not only grow enough food to eat but produce enough food to sell. We are continuously looking for new partners to deploy innovative solutions such as irrigation and food processing, to maximize crop yield and economic growth.

Finance is a key enabler for both productive and social activities.

We believe that finance must be offered fairly and inclusively, in a format that is compatible with the local needs of our communities.

The World Bank Group estimates that by 2030, three billion people, or 40 percent of the world’s population will need new housing units.

The World Bank points out that in sub-Saharan Africa only 3% of the population can afford a mortgage, lower housing prices and higher bankability of housing units would result in a higher home affordability rates.

Absolute Energy recognizes that within the countries we serve there are large portions of the population living in sub-standard housing and without the necessary access to credit that can help them to build, expand, or renovate their homes.

Technologicaly solutions coupled with a local, hands-on approach – to leverage best practices for what is available on site, may offer decent and more affordable housing prospects.

In supporting Africa’s growing health care needs public resources are already limited. At the turn of the millennium, African leaders pledged to spend 15% of their GDP on healthcare. Fifteen years later, the average is only 6.2%.

Using new and time-tested methods ranging from patient education, data collection and deploying newer options like “m-health” may prove to be an effective response to a growing health crisis in Africa. We are eager to partner with “m-medicine” providers and others in the medical field who understand the conditions and challenges of working in Africa.
